• Are zencontrol products suitable for DIY installation?

  No. zencontrol components, such as smart switches, drivers, and room control modules, operate on electrical mains and DALI lines. They must only be installed by a licensed electrician to ensure compliance and safety.

• What is the default operating mode of the zencontrol smart switch?

  By default, zc-ss series smart switches operate in Bridge mode, acting as a bridge between the Thread 104 interface and DALI devices connected via the 101 interface.

• Does the DALI terminal on zencontrol switches require polarization?

  DALI is not polarized. However, it is not SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage) and must be treated as Low Voltage (LV). It should never be connected to mains voltages。

• How do I make a warranty claim for a defective zencontrol product?

  To claim under warranty, you must provide the product code, serial number, proof of original purchase, and the certificate of professional installation to support@zencontrol.com. Attempting to service any part of the product yourself will void the warranty.
