  ALTA sensors feature a non-line-of-sight wireless range of 1,200+ feet (through 12+ walls), utilizing Frequency-Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) for interference immunity.

• How long do the batteries last in Monnit sensors?

  Battery life varies by model and usage. ALTA coin cell sensors typically last 3+ years, AA battery sensors can last 10+ years, and industrial sensors offer up to 7 years of battery life depending on reporting frequency.
