The XTOOL Advancer AD20 Pro is an advanced wireless OBD2 code reader designed for comprehensive vehicle diagnostics. This device integrates full OBDII tests, all-system scanning, engine light checks, oil reset functions, battery health checks, DTC lookup, performance testing, and trip analysis. It is compatible with most American vehicles (since 1996), European models (since 2000), and Asian cars (since 2008) that are OBDII compliant and use 12 volts. Download the "Advancer AD20Pro" App: Download the official application from the App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play (for Android devices). Ensure your device is iOS 11 or above, or Android 4.4 or above with a 64-bit processor.

Scan & Pair Device: Scan the QR code located on your AD20 Pro unit using the app's built-in scanner. This will pair the device with your smartphone.

- Plug into Vehicle: Insert the AD20 Pro into your vehicle's OBD2 port. Ensure the vehicle key is in the ON position.
- Start Engine & Diagnose: Start the vehicle engine to begin the diagnostic process. The app will automatically detect your vehicle's information and allow you to perform various tests.

All-System Diagnostic Scan
The AD20 Pro performs comprehensive in-depth checks across all vehicle systems, including Engine, Steering & Brake, Airbag, ABS, and more. It reads and clears manufacturer-specific DTC codes. Note: This function only reads and clears codes; it does not support system resets. Some DTCs may require physical repairs before they can be cleared.

Full OBD Test & DTC Lookup
The device simplifies car diagnostics by performing a full range of OBDII tests. The DTC Lookup feature helps identify potential issues by providing detailed descriptions of fault codes and their possible causes. Tests include reading/clearing codes, live data streaming, freeze frame, ECU information, component testing, on-board monitor test (mode $06), O2 sensor test, and I/M readiness status.

Track Vehicle Performance
Monitor your car's performance with the Performance Test, which measures data like 0-100 km/h acceleration, top speed, engine load, and coolant temperature. The Trip Analysis feature tracks metrics such as top speed, average speed, and fuel consumption to help optimize driving behavior and improve safety. The Smart Dash feature allows for personalized head-up display of important data.
