5. セットアップとインストール

• Ensure power to the disposal circuit is turned OFF at the breaker panel before beginning installation.
• Gather necessary tools: screwdriver, pliers, safety glasses, and a flashlight.
• Verify all included components are present (refer to Section 3).

Removing Old Disposal (if applicable)

1. Disconnect the power to the old disposal at the circuit breaker.
2. Disconnect the drain lines from the old disposal.
3. Support the disposal and twist the mounting ring counter-clockwise to detach it from the sink flange. Carefully lower and remove the old unit.

Installing New Disposal

3. 食器洗い機の接続: If connecting a dishwasher, remove the EZ Removable Dishwasher Inlet Plug using the included wrenchette. Connect the dishwasher drain hose to the inlet.

6. 操作手順

Follow these steps for safe and effective operation of your InSinkErator garbage disposal:

• If odors persist, try pouring a small amount of baking soda into the disposal, let it sit for a few minutes, then flush with cold water while running the disposal.

• If the disposal hums but does not grind, it may be jammed. Immediately turn off the power switch.
• Insert the wrenchette (included with your disposal) into the center hole on the bottom of the disposal. Rotate it back and forth until the jam is freed.
• If you do not have the wrenchette, use a wooden spoon or broom handle to dislodge the object from the grinding chamber. 決して手を使わないでください。
