4. インストール手順

4.1 表面処理

1. Clean the surface with rubbing alcohol. This removes grime and dust, allowing the adhesive strip to bond effectively. Do not use household cleaners.
2. Ensure the indoor temperature is between 15°F and 125°F (-9°C and 52°C).
3. If the wall has been recently painted, wait seven days after painting before applying the Command Hook to allow the paint to cure.

4.2 Applying the Hook

4. Separate the hook from its base.
5. Remove the red liner from the adhesive strip and press the strip firmly onto the back of the hook's base.
6. Remove the black liner from the adhesive strip.
7. Press the hook firmly to the prepared wall surface for 30 seconds. Ensure the entire adhesive strip makes contact with the surface.
8. Slide the hook back onto its base.
9. Wait 1 hour before hanging any items on the hook. This allows the adhesive to reach maximum strength.

6. 取り外し手順

To remove the Command Hook cleanly and without damage:

1. Lightly hold the top of the hook's base.
2. Slowly pull the adhesive strip straight down towards the floor. Pulling at an angle or too quickly may damage the surface.
3. Continue pulling until the strip releases completely from the wall. The strip will stretch as it releases.

7. お手入れとメンテナンス

To maintain the appearance and functionality of your Command Hook:

• Clean the hook with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, which can damage the satin nickel finish.
• Ensure the hook and surrounding area are dry after cleaning, especially in humid bathroom environments.
• If the adhesive strip loses its hold, replace it with a new Command Water-Resistant Refill Strip (sold separately).

• Surface not clean: Ensure the surface was thoroughly cleaned with rubbing alcohol and allowed to dry completely before application.
• Weight exceeded: Verify that the weight of the items hung on the hook does not exceed 4 pounds (1.8 kg).
• Improper application: Ensure the adhesive strip was pressed firmly for 30 seconds and allowed to cure for 1 hour before use.
• Unsuitable surface: Confirm that the hook was applied to a recommended smooth surface and not on wallpaper, textured walls, or other unsuitable materials.
