Installation of the QS2225 breaker should only be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with all applicable electrical codes and standards.

Refer to the strip gauge on the breaker (see Figure 2) to determine the correct length of insulation to remove from the #1-300kcmil CU-AL wires. The end of the stripped wire must be visible in the opening, and both stripped wires must not contact the internal barrier.

To reset a tripped breaker, first push the handle completely to the OFF position, then push it to the ON position. If the breaker immediately trips again, do not attempt to reset it repeatedly. Investigate the cause of the trip.
