1. はじめに

Thank you for choosing the ECD Germany 43L Electronic Safe. This safe is designed to provide secure storage for your valuables, including cash, jewelry, documents, and other important items. 2. 安全に関する注意事項

• 緊急キーを金庫の中に保管しないでください。 Always keep the emergency keys in a secure location outside the safe, accessible only to authorized individuals.
• Keep your PIN confidential. Do not share your personal identification number (PIN) with unauthorized persons.
• 金庫を極端な温度や湿度にさらさないでください。 This can damage the electronic components and affect the safe's functionality.
• バッテリーが正しく取り付けられていることを確認してください。 Incorrect battery polarity can cause damage to the electronic lock.
• Mount the safe securely. For maximum security, always utilize the pre-drilled mounting holes to anchor the safe to a wall or floor.

4. セットアップとインストール

4.1 バッテリーの取り付け

1. 金庫のドアの内側にある電池ボックスを見つけます。
2. 電池ボックスのカバーを開きます。
3. 正しい極性 (+/-) を確認して、単三電池 4 本を挿入します。
4. 電池ボックスのカバーを閉じます。

4.2 PINの初期設定

Upon first use, or after battery replacement, you will need to set your personal PIN.

1. 金庫のドアを開いた状態で、ドアの内側のヒンジの近くにある赤いリセット ボタンを見つけます。
2. 赤いリセットボタンを押してください。ビープ音が鳴り、キーパッドの黄色のインジケータライトが点灯します。
3. Within 5 seconds, enter your desired 3 to 8 digit PIN on the keypad.
4. Confirm your PIN by pressing the "#" button. You will hear a confirmation beep.
5. Test the new PIN with the door open to ensure it works correctly before closing the safe.

4.3 金庫の取り付け

For enhanced security, it is highly recommended to mount the safe to a wall or floor using the provided bolt anchors.

1. Choose a suitable location for mounting, such as a solid wall or floor.
2. Identify the pre-drilled holes on the back and bottom of the safe.
3. 金庫を配置し、あらかじめ開けられた穴を通してドリルポイントをマークします。
4. 壁や床の材質に適したドリルビットを使用して、マークした箇所に穴を開けます。
5. Align the safe with the drilled holes and insert the bolt anchors.
6. Tighten the bolt anchors securely to fasten the safe in place.

5. 操作手順

5.1 Opening the Safe with PIN

1. キーパッドに3〜8桁のPINを入力します。
2. 「#」ボタンを押します。緑色のインジケータライトが点灯します。
3. 5 秒以内にノブを時計回りに回して金庫のドアを開けます。

5.2 緊急キーで金庫を開ける

The emergency key provides access if you forget your PIN or if the batteries are depleted.

1. Locate the concealed keyhole, usually behind the ECD Germany logo plate or a removable cover on the keypad.
2. Insert the emergency key into the keyhole and turn it counter-clockwise.
3. While holding the key turned, turn the knob clockwise to open the safe door.
4. Remove the key once the door is open.

5.3 PINの変更

You can change your PIN at any time while the safe door is open.

1. 金庫のドアを開いた状態で、ドアの内側にある赤いリセットボタンを押します。
2. The yellow indicator light will illuminate.
3. Enter your new 3 to 8 digit PIN.
4. Confirm your new PIN by pressing the "#" button.
5. Test the new PIN with the door open before closing.

6. メンテナンス

6.1 電池の交換

When the batteries are low, the red indicator light on the keypad may flash or the safe may not respond. Replace all 4 AA batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation.

1. Open the safe using your PIN or the emergency key.
2. Locate and open the battery compartment on the inside of the door.
3. 古いバッテリーを取り外し、責任を持って処分してください。
4. Insert 4 new AA batteries, observing correct polarity.
5. 電池ケースを閉じます。

6.2 クリーニング

金庫の外側を柔らかくて清潔な布で拭いてください。amp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the powder-coated finish.

6.3 Internal Protection

The safe includes a protective felt mat on the inside to prevent scratches and damage to your valuables. Ensure this mat is properly placed. The removable intermediate shelf can be adjusted or removed to accommodate items of various sizes.

7。 トラブルシューティング

• PINで金庫が開かない:
  - Ensure you are entering the correct PIN. Try again carefully.
  - Check if the batteries are low. Replace them if necessary.
  - Use the emergency key to open the safe.
• キーパッドが反応しません:
  - 電池を新しいものに交換してください。
  - Ensure the battery compartment is closed securely.
• ドアがきちんと閉まらない:
  - Check for any obstructions preventing the door from closing fully.
  - Ensure the locking bolts are retracted before attempting to close.
• PINを忘れた場合:
  - Use the emergency key to open the safe.
  - Once open, reset the PIN using the red reset button as described in Section 4.2.
