Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all items listed in the 'What's Included' section are present and undamaged. If any parts are missing or damaged, do not assemble or operate the chainsaw; contact customer support.

1. Insert the 60V 4.0Ah battery into the provided charger.
2. Plug the charger into a standard electrical outlet. The charger indicator light will show the charging status.

4. Align the charged battery with the battery compartment on the chainsaw and slide it in until it clicks securely into place. Ensure the battery gauge is visible and functional.

Chain and Bar Assembly (if not pre-assembled)

1. With the battery removed, loosen the side cover knob slightly.
2. Turn the chain tensioning dial (usually a red or orange knob) clockwise to increase tension or counter-clockwise to decrease tension.
3. Proper tension allows the chain to be pulled away from the guide bar by about 1/8 to 1/4 inch (3-6 mm) at the center, but the drive links should not come out of the guide bar groove.
4. Once tension is correct, firmly tighten the side cover knob.
