vidaXL Pool Sand Filter System with 6-Way Valve

1. はじめに

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe installation, operation, and maintenance of your vidaXL Pool Sand Filter System, Model 313990. This sand filter is designed to work with a suitable pool pump (not included) to maintain clean and clear swimming pool water. 3.組み立てと設置

3.1 開梱と検査

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any damage during transit. If any parts are damaged or missing, do not proceed with assembly and contact customer support.

3.2 サイトの選択

Place the filter system on a firm, level surface, preferably concrete, that can support the weight of the filter when filled with sand and water. Ensure adequate drainage and protection from direct sunlight or extreme weather conditions. The location should allow easy access for maintenance.

3.3 Filling with Filter Sand

1. タンクの底にある排水プラグがしっかりと閉まっていることを確認してください。
2. Remove the top cover of the filter tank.
3. Place the standpipe with the lateral assembly inside the tank, ensuring it is centered.
4. To prevent sand from entering the standpipe, cover the top opening of the standpipe with a plastic cap or tape.
5. Carefully pour approximately 79 kg of appropriate filter sand (not included) into the tank. Distribute the sand evenly.
6. Remove the cap/tape from the standpipe.

3.4 Connecting the Multi-Port Valve

Attach the 6-way multi-port valve to the side of the filter tank. Ensure the O-ring is properly seated and tighten the connections securely. Do not overtighten.

3.5配管接続

Connect the pool pump (not included) to the "PUMP" port on the multi-port valve. Connect the return line to the pool to the "RETURN" port. Connect a waste line (for backwashing) to the "WASTE" port. Use appropriate plumbing fittings and sealants to prevent leaks.

3.6初期起動

1. Ensure all connections are secure and the drain plug is closed.
2. Fill the pool with water to the appropriate level.
3. Set the multi-port valve handle to the "BACKWASH" position.
4. Turn on the pool pump. Allow water to flow through the waste line until it runs clear (typically 2-3 minutes).

6. Set the multi-port valve handle to the "RINSE" position.
7. Turn on the pump. Rinse for approximately 30-60 seconds.

9. Set the multi-port valve handle to the "FILTER" position.
10. Turn on the pump. The system is now operating in filter mode. Note the initial pressure gauge reading.

4. Operation: 6-Way Multi-Port Valve Functions

The 6-way multi-port valve controls the flow of water through the filter system. バルブやシステムの損傷を防ぐため、バルブの位置を変更する前に必ずポンプをオフにしてください。

• フィルター： Normal filtering mode. Water flows through the sand bed, is filtered, and returned to the pool.
• バックウォッシュ： Cleans the filter by reversing water flow through the sand bed, discharging debris out the waste port. Use when pressure gauge reads 8-10 PSI above initial clean pressure.
• リンス： Used after backwashing to flush out any remaining debris from the valve and sand bed, ensuring clean water returns to the pool.
• 無駄： フィルターをバイパスし、排水口から直接水を排出します。重いゴミを直接排水口に吸い取ったり、プールの水位を下げたりするのに使用します。
• 循環： フィルターをバイパスし、水をプールに直接循環させます。ろ過せずに薬品を混ぜるのに便利です。
• 休業： フィルターとポンプへの流れをすべて遮断します。ポンプまたはフィルターのメンテナンスに使用します。 Never operate the pump with the valve in the CLOSED position.

5. メンテナンス

5.1 逆洗

Backwash the filter when the pressure gauge reading is 8-10 PSI higher than the clean operating pressure, or when pool water clarity decreases. Follow the steps for initial startup (steps 3-8) to perform a backwash and rinse cycle.

5.2 砂の交換

Filter sand typically needs replacement every 3-5 years, depending on usage and water quality. Consult a pool professional if you are unsure.

5.3 防寒

Before freezing temperatures, drain all water from the filter tank by opening the drain plug. Disconnect all plumbing. Set the multi-port valve to the "WINTER" position. Store the pump and filter in a dry, protected area if possible, or cover them securely.
