Setup: Butane Refilling
Your PROMISE Torch Lighter is shipped without butane fuel due to mailing regulations. It must be filled before first use.
- Prepare Butane: Use a high-quality butane gas canister with a long universal filling tip.
- Bleed Air (Optional but Recommended): Before refilling, invert the lighter and use a small tool (like a pen tip) to press the refill valve to release any residual air from the tank. This helps prevent air pockets and ensures a more complete fill.
- 詰め替え: Invert the lighter and firmly press the butane canister nozzle vertically into the lighter's refill valve located at the bottom. Hold for approximately 5-10 seconds. Repeat 2-3 times if necessary, allowing a few seconds between each press for the gas to settle.
- 燃料レベルを確認してください： The transparent fuel tank allows you to easily monitor the butane level.
- 待って： After refilling, wait at least 2-3 minutes before igniting the lighter. This allows the butane to reach room temperature and stabilize, ensuring proper ignition.

Igniting the Lighter
- 蓋を開ける： Flip open the protective lid covering the flame nozzle.
- 発火： Press the large ignition button firmly to ignite the torch flame. Release the button to extinguish the flame.

The flame height can be easily adjusted without the need for tools.
- Locate the adjustment wheel at the bottom of the lighter.
- Rotate the wheel towards the 「+」 sign for a larger flame.
- Rotate the wheel towards the 「-」 sign for a smaller flame.

メンテナンス
- クリーニング： Periodically wipe the lighter with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and grime. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- 補充: Refill the lighter with butane as described in the "Setup" section when the fuel level is low, visible through the transparent tank.
