The Utilitech 50AC-110 Water Transfer Pump is designed for efficient liquid transfer. This pump is ideal for draining water heaters, water beds, washing machines, or for filling radiant heating systems. It comes complete with a 6 ft. suction hose, suction attachment, and extra impeller and gasket for convenience.

Upon unboxing, ensure all components are present: the pump unit, a 6-foot suction hose, a suction attachment for flat surfaces or submerged use, an extra impeller, and a gasket. The pump is designed for 115V operation and features a clear flow indicator for correct hose connection.

Draining a Water Heater:

1. Turn off Power and Water Supply: Locate and turn off the circuit breaker for the water heater. Also, turn off the main water supply to your house.
2. Open Relief Valve: Open the temperature and pressure relief valve on the water heater to allow air into the tank, facilitating drainage.

   • Connect a discharge hose to the outlet port of the pump (in the direction of the arrow). Direct the discharge hose to a suitable drainage area, such as a floor drain or outdoors.
