The guitar features a single strap button located at the bottom of the body. To attach the strap:
- Secure one end of the strap to the strap button on the bottom of the guitar body.
- The other end of the strap can be tied securely around the headstock, just above the nut, using a string or a dedicated headstock strap tie (not included).

New guitars often require frequent tuning as the strings stretch. Use the included pitch pipe to tune your guitar. The standard tuning for an acoustic guitar from thickest to thinnest string is E-A-D-G-B-e.

Image 3.2: The included pitch pipe, used for tuning the guitar.
- Identify the notes on the pitch pipe corresponding to each guitar string (E, A, D, G, B, e).
- Pluck a guitar string and listen to its pitch.
- Blow into the corresponding note on the pitch pipe.
- Adjust the tuning peg for that string on the guitar's headstock until the guitar string's pitch matches the pitch pipe's note. Turn the peg clockwise to raise the pitch and counter-clockwise to lower it.
- Repeat for all six strings.

For right-handed players, the guitar body rests on your right leg (when seated) or against your body (when standing with a strap). Your right arm should rest comfortably over the top of the guitar body, allowing your hand to reach the strings over the soundhole. Your left hand supports the neck and frets the strings.

4.2 Using the Pick
Hold the guitar pick between your thumb and index finger. The pick should be firm but relaxed, allowing for smooth strumming or picking of individual strings.
4.3 Basic Strumming
Practice strumming all six open strings (without fretting any notes) to get a feel for the instrument. Aim for a consistent rhythm and even sound across all strings.

Wipe down the guitar body and strings with a soft, dry cloth after each use to remove sweat and oils. This helps prevent corrosion and maintains the guitar's finish.
Strings will eventually wear out, lose their tone, or break. The included extra set of strings can be used for replacement. Replace strings one at a time to maintain tension on the neck. If you are unsure, seek guidance from an experienced guitarist or a professional.
Store the guitar in its nylon carrying case when not in use to protect it from dust, scratches, and minor impacts. Avoid exposing the guitar to extreme temperatures or humidity, as this can affect the wood and tuning stability.
New strings require time to stretch. Tune frequently during the first few days of use. Ensure strings are properly wound around the tuning pegs. Extreme temperature changes can also affect tuning.
- Strings sound dull: This indicates old or corroded strings. Replace them with the included extra set or a new set of acoustic guitar strings.
Check if your fingers are pressing the strings firmly enough against the frets. If the buzzing persists, it might indicate an issue with string action or fret leveling, which may require professional adjustment.
- Broken string: Replace the broken string immediately using the spare set provided.
