1.はじめにおよび安全情報

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and effective operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your ECHO CS-271T-12 Gas Chain Saw. 2. セットアップと組み立て

2.1 開梱と検査

Carefully remove the chain saw and all components from the packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage. If any damage is found, do not operate the unit and contact your dealer.

2.2 バーとチェーンの取り付け

1. チェーンブレーキが解除されていることを確認してください。
2. Remove the chain cover nuts and chain cover.
3. Place the chain around the clutch drum and guide bar, ensuring the cutting edges face forward on the top of the bar.
4. チェーン テンショナー ピンをガイド バーの穴に合わせながら、ガイド バーをスタッドに取り付けます。
5. チェーンカバーを元に戻し、ナットを手で締めます。
6. Adjust chain tension using the side access chain tensioner until the chain is snug but can still be pulled freely by hand.

2.3 燃料とチェーンオイル

This chain saw requires a specific fuel mixture and chain lubricant.

• 燃料混合物: Use a 50:1 ratio of high-quality 2-stroke engine oil to unleaded gasoline (minimum 89 octane). Mix thoroughly in a separate, approved fuel container.
• チェーンオイル： Use a high-quality bar and chain oil. Do not use waste oil or motor oil, as this can damage the chain and bar.

Fill the fuel tank and chain oil reservoir, ensuring not to overfill. Wipe up any spills immediately.

3. 操作手順

3.1 エンジンの始動（コールドスタート）

1. チェーンソーをしっかりとした平らな場所に置きます。チェーンブレーキが作動していることを確認してください。
2. Press the purge bulb several times until fuel is visible in the return line.
3. チョークレバーをフルチョークの位置に動かします。
4. Pull the starter handle firmly and quickly until the engine fires (usually 1-3 pulls). Do not pull the rope to its full extension.
5. Once the engine fires, move the choke lever to the HALF CHOKE position.
6. エンジンが始動して作動するまで、スターター ハンドルを再度引きます。
7. Once the engine is running, move the choke lever to the RUN position. Allow the engine to warm up for a few moments.
8. 切断作業を始める前にチェーンブレーキを解除してください。

3.2 エンジンの始動（ウォームスタート）

2. チョークレバーをRUN位置に動かします。
3. Pull the starter handle firmly and quickly until the engine starts.

3.3 切断技術

Always maintain a firm grip with both hands on the chain saw handles. Stand with your feet apart for balance. Avoid cutting with the tip of the guide bar to prevent kickback.

• 抵抗する： Cut a fallen log into sections. Be aware of tension and compression in the wood to avoid pinching the bar.

Remove the air filter cover and clean the filter element. Wash foam filters with warm, soapy water, rinse, and allow to dry completely before reinstallation. Replace damaged filters.

4.4 スパークプラグの点検

Remove the spark plug and inspect for fouling or wear. Clean or replace as necessary. Ensure the correct gap is set.
