- Carefully burn off the mantles with a match until they turn white ash. Allow to cool.
- Replace the glass globe and ventilator.

Turn the pump knob counter-clockwise one full turn. Place your thumb over the hole in the pump knob and pump approximately 30-40 times until resistance is felt. Turn the pump knob clockwise to lock it.
